Women’s T&F: Griffin, Favours, Caldwell and Krempel All Earn All-American Honors – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s track and field team closed out its season Saturday at the 2008 NCAA Championships in Des Monies, Iowa.
Jenna Griffin posted the second-best time in school history in the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.36 as she earned All-American honors for the second time in her career.
Griffin returned with the team of Chandra Krempel, Ayrizanna Favours and Ashley Caldwell who all earned All-American honors in the 4×400-meter relay with their sixth-place finish in a time of 3:33.73.
Griffin will have a few weeks off before she hits the track again for the Olympic Trials at the end of the month. Favours and Caldwell will be returning to the Buckeyes next season.
