Women’s T&F: Ohio State Posts Solid Numbers In Big Ten/SEC Challenge – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio The Ohio State women’s track and field team put together several solid performances at the Big Ten/SEC challenge Saturday in Bloomington, Ind., on the campus of Indiana University.
The Buckeyes were led by junior Ayrizanna Favours who won the 400-meter dash in a time of 54.82. Chandra Krempel, Ashley Caldwell, Letecia Wright and Favours raced their way to a second-place finish in the 400-meter relay as Ohio State posted a time of 3:48.21 to edge third-place Florida.
In the field for Ohio State, senior Veronica Jatsek took second in the weight throw with a toss of 67 feet, 6 3/4 inches.
The Buckeyes will take next week off before heading to the Akron Invitational Feb. 1 in Akron, Ohio.
