– The attendance of 1,175 Friday night for the two-game session broke the previous record of 942, set last Friday in the four-game session of the Big Ten tournament. The single-game attendance record remains at 695, set May 6 of this season against Penn State when Ohio State clinched the Big Ten championship.
– Ohio State is now 32-5 this season when scoring first.
– The Buckeyes are now 9-2 at night this season.
– The Buckeyes have now gone 33 consecutive games without being shutout, extending their school record. Saturday, they will face the last pitcher to hold them scoreless in Virginia Tech’s Angela Tincher.
