COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s track and field team will compete Friday and Saturday at the 2007 All-Ohio Championships at the University of Cincinnati’s Gettler Stadium. Heat sheets for the events were released Friday.
Several Buckeyes highlight the meet program, beginning with Ayrizanna Favours, who is slated to run in the first section of the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes. She also will anchor the relay teams.
In the field, defending Big Ten high jump champion Jessica Stringer will look to add another All-Ohio title in the event Saturday, while fellow senior Veronica Vance enters the triple jump with the second-best mark in the field of 41 feet, 1 ¼ inches.
In the throwing events, 2007 Indoor All-American Veronica Jatsek is listed in the second flight of both the shot put and hammer events.
