Ohio State Softball cancels Saturday’s Games of Classic – Ohio State Buckeyes

Games scheduled for Saturday, the first day of competition at the Sixth Annual Ohio Collegiate Charity Classic hosted by Ohio State softball, have been cancelled because of poor weather conditions.
The Sunday tournament games will be played in their entirety, but will have a start time of 1 p.m. Oct. 1 at Ohio State’s Fred Beekman Park. Scores for Sunday’s games will be posted on the softball Web site.
The Ohio Collegiate Charity Classic is annually one of the biggest fundraisers in Central Ohio for breast cancer research. The Classic benefits the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
