Buckeyes Stand 8th with 18 to Play at Gopher Invitational – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio State men’s golf team is in eighth place with 18 holes to play at the Gopher Invitational. The Buckeyes shot 610 (303-307) over the first 36 holes at the Spring Hill Golf Club (par 72. 7,020) in Wayzata, Minn., Saturday.
Minnesota leads the 54-hole event with a score of 590 (303-287). Colt Knost of Southern Methodist is the individual leader after firing rounds of 71-67 for a score of 6-under 138.
Ohio State senior Colin Biles (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) is tied for 24th to lead the Buckeyes. He shot rounds of 77-75=152.
Final round competition begins at 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
