COLUMBUS, Ohio – Colin Biles, a junior on the Ohio State men’s golf team, was selected to the All-Big Ten Second Team earlier this week.
Biles (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) finished tied for 16th last week at the 2006 Big Ten Tournament in Lake Forest, Ill. The effort was the seventh time this season he finished among the Top 20 individuals in team tournament action.
Statistically, Biles led the Buckeyes with 37 rounds played and with a stroke average of 73.4. He was the only Buckeye to play every round during the 2005-06 season.
The conference office also announced honorees from each of the league’s 11 men’s golf squads for the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
