The top four finishes in the 400 medley relay topped theMcCorkle Aquatic Pavilion pool record of 3:41.78. Michigan won theevent with a time of 3:38.45, followed by Wisconsin (3:39.05), PennState (3:40.08) and Indiana (3:41.75). Penn State’s Kaitlin O’Brienwon the 400 IM with a time of 4:12.03 to set a new MAP pool record(previously 4:13.65). Kaitlyn Brady of Michigan set a new Big Tenchampionships meet record in the 100 butterfly with a time of 52.60(previously 53.38). Michigan’s Lindsey Smith won the 200 freestylewith a time of 1:47.05, topping the MAP pool record of 1:47.30.Amelia Sarnecki of Wisconsin (1:02.63) and Hayley Fry ofNorthwestern (1:02.83) topped the MAP pool record of 1:03.07 in the100 breaststroke. The top three finishers in the 3-meter divingsurpassed the MAP pool record of 339.15. Chelseanna Davis ofNorthwestern won the event with 388.10, followed by CarrieMcCambridge of Purdue at 380.50 and Julie Broms of Ohio State at346.35.
