Michigan’s time of 1:30.02 in the 200 freestyle relay was a BigTen championship meet record (previously 1:30.17). The top fivefinishers in the 200 freestyle relay broke the McCorkle AquaticCenter pool record, lead by Michigan at 1:30.02. Wisconsin(1:30.27), Minnesota (1:31.18), Illinois (1:31.18) and Indiana(1:32.50) each surpassed the previous mark of 1:32.73. Minnesota’sYuen Kobayashi set a new MAP pool record in the 500 freestyle withher time of 4:43.00. Justine Mueller of Michigan and JennyShaughnessy of Minnesota both topped the MAP pool record (2:00.64)in the 200 IM. Mueller won the event at 1:59.60 and Shaughnessyplaced second with 2:00.60. Michigan’s Kaitlyn Brady won the 50freestyle with a time of 22.37 to post a new MAP pool record(previously 22.54). Christina Loukas of Indiana smashed the Big Tenchampionships meet record in the 1-meter diving with her score of345.20. The previous meet record was 321.80. It is also a MAP poolrecord.
