Final Day at 2005 USA Track and Field Championships Complete – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio – The 2005 USA Track and Field National Championships came to an end Sunday at the Home Dept Center in Carson, Calif. Former Ohio State All-American Dan Taylor finished eighth in the men’s shot put, while 2005 senior Rosalind Goodwin placed ninth in the women’s triple jump.
Taylor, a nine-time All-American and two-time national champ at OSU from 2000-04, heaved a mark of 65 feet, 10 inches to finish eighth. Last year, Taylor took sixth in the U.S. Olympic Trials.
In the women’s triple jump, Goodwin reached 43 feet, 5 3/4 inches to take ninth. Teammate Shayla Moore also competed in the event, posting a leap of 42-7.
