Men’s Golf Tied for First After Two Rounds – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team posted its second lowest two-round total of the 2004-05 season to tie for first with Xavier University after day one competition Friday at the 2005 Marshall Invitational. Marshall University is playing host to the event at the par 71, 6,446-yard Guyan Golf and Country Club in Huntington, W. Va.
The Buckeyes received strong performances by Scott Anderson (Sr., Great Falls, Mont./Great Falls), Zack Randol (Jr., Lawrence, N.Y./Woodberry Forest) and Colin Biles (So., Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) all of whom are tied for sixth with a day one total of 139.
The Buckeyes will look to repeat as Marshall Invitational champions Sunday with final round action beginning at 8 a.m. on the No. 1 and No. 10 tees.
