COLUMBUS, Ohio – Erica Fisk (Sr., Indianapolis, Ind./ Pike) was victorious in her consolation match on the final day of competition at the Cissie Leary Invitational, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pa.
Fisk defeated Cindy Chu of Harvard, 6-2, 6-2, in her match. Kristin Messmer (Fr., Lutherville, Md./ McDonogh) fell to No. 74-ranked Erika Valdes of Tulane, 6-1, 6-2.
Ohio State resumes play Friday through Sunday in Lexington, Ky., at the Kentucky Fall Tournament.
