Freezing Conditions Force No. 20 Softball To Cancel Doubleheader At Illinois – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio– The Sunday April 6 softball doubleheader at Illinois was cancelled because of freezing conditions in the Champaign, Ill. area. Due to Big Ten regulations the doubleheader will not be rescheduled.
The cancellation marks the second-consecutive weekend the Buckeyes have been forced to cancel a Big Ten doubleheader and the fourth Big Ten game the Buckeyes have lost because of bad weather conditions. Ohio State and Purdue were forced to cancel a doubleheader last weekend in Columbus because of bad weather.
The Buckeyes will next travel to Akron at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
