Field Set for 2003 NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Championship – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio – The NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Committee announced 12 teams that have been selected to participate in the 2003 NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Championship including two automatic bids, the Big Ten and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation champions, and 10 top-ranked teams. The Top 12 all-arounders and Top 12 in each individual event, who are not on a qualifying team, qualify as an individual. The Ohio State men’s gymnastics team was selected to compete in the qualifier for the 23rd-consecutive year. The qualifier and the 2003 NCAA Championships will take place April 11-13 in the Liacouras Center on the campus of Temple University in Philadelphia.
The national qualifier will take place April 11. Three teams and the top three all-around competitors not on one of the qualifying teams, plus the top three individuals on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor, will advance from each pre-qualifying session to the finals session.
