Men’s Golf Leads Kepler Intercollegiate After Two Rounds – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team (60-68-2) began competition at the 34th annual Kepler Intercollegiate, firing an opening round of 146, to lead the field after two rounds. The tournament is being held at the par-72, 7,258-yard Ohio State University Scarlet Course.
Junior Zach Doran, (Jr., Dublin, Ohio/Columbus Academy) leads the Buckeyes after posting a two-round total of 146, tying him for third. Doran opened the tournament firing his 13th round under-par this season. Also turning in a strong performance for the Buckeyes was sophomore Scott Anderson (Great Falls, Mont./Great Falls). Anderson currently stands in seventh, after posting a second round score of one-under-par 71.
Jeff Overton of Indiana and Brad Heaven of Toledo are tied for the lead at 143. Ohio State leads the 18-team field with a score of 591.
The Buckeyes will shoot for their 23rd Kepler Intercollegiate title tomorrow beginning at 8 a.m.
