Men’s Golf Tied For Eighth After Two Rounds – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team (12-2) are tied for eighth, with a two-round total of 596 at the 2003 SMU Stonebridge Invitational in McKinney, Texas. The two-day event is beginning held at the par 72, 7,247-yard, Stonebridge Country Club with teams competing on the Dye Course.
Leading the way for the Buckeyes after two-rounds are seniors Kevin Hall (Cincinnati, Ohio/ St. Rita For The Deaf) and Brett Williams (Circleville, Ohio/ Otterbein), both whom fired day one scores of three-over-par 147 to pace the Buckeyes as they head into final round competition.
Williams’ appearance in SMU invitational marked his first tournament as Buckeye.
Pacing all individuals is Colt Knost of SMU as he posted a two-round total of nine-under-par,135, while Notre Dame leads all teams with a two-round total of 596.
Final round competition will begin tomorrow at 8 a.m.
