COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio State men’s soccer team held its annual awards banquet Saturday night at the Faculty Club on the Ohio State campus. Senior Jake Traeger (Sr., Littleton, Colo.), who was recently selected in the sixth round of the MLS Super Draft by the Columbus Crew, was voted Most Valuable Player of the 2002 season.
The Most Improved Player Award went to junior David Ridenhour (Germantown, Tenn.). Senior captain Tony Earp (Plantation, Fla.) received the Linda Daniel Most Inspirational Player Award and senior John Tomaino (Palatine, Ill.) was the recipient of the Coaches Award.
