Ohio State to Play Host to NCAA Track and Field Regional Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The NCAA has announced The Ohio State University has been awarded the 2003 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Regional Championships. The two-day event, which will feature over 900 student-athletes, will be held May 30-31, 2003 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

“Ohio State is elated to be hosting the 2003 NCAA Track and Field Regionals,” Richelle Simonson, OSU associate athletics director for ticketing and event management, said. “It’s an opportunity to showcase both our wonderful facilities at Ohio State and the city of Columbus. We see it as a stepping stone toward our ultimate goal of hosting an NCAA track championship at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.”
