Women’s Lacrosse Moves To 12th In Final IWLCA Poll – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s lacrosse team moved to 12th in the final Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Poll released Monday. The Buckeyes moved up from 14th in the poll last week after defeating Ohio, 12-6, in Athens. The ranking is the highest for Ohio State since being ranked 13th on April 1.
Ohio State (11-4 overall) begins play this week in the NCAA Championship. The Buckeyes, an at-large selection, will face Notre Dame at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 9 in a first round game at Moose Krause Stadium, in Notre Dame, Ind. This will be Ohio State’s first-ever appearance in the Championship.
