Men’s Golf Finishes Second Round at UNLV Intercollegiate in 10th Place – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio–The Ohio State men’s golf team finished the second round of competition at the UNLV Intercollegiate today in Las Vegas, Nev. in 10th place, firing a 294 (+6). The Buckeyes were led by senior Doug Wade (Lima, Ohio/Lima Central Catholic) who finished the second round with a score of E (72) and is currently tied for 53th (79-72=151).
No. 1 Georgia Tech (287-276=563), who finished the first round with a 287 (-1), fired a -12, 276, in the second round placing them seven strokes in front of second place Georgia (288-282=570).
Florida’s Camilo Villegas (68-69=137) fired a second round 69 (-3) taking sole possession of first place in the individual competition, however there are three golfers within three strokes of the lead.
The final round will begin at 8 a.m. P.T. tomorrow.
