Men’s Golf Finishes First Day at UNLV Intercollegiate 11th Place – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio–The Ohio State men’s golf team finished the first round of competition at the UNLV Intercollegiate today in Las Vegas, Nev. 11 strokes off the lead (299), in 11th place. The Buckeyes are led byseniors Scott Miller (Middletown, Ohio/ Middletown) and Jason Oien (Westerville, Ohio/ Westerville North) who finished the first 18 holes with scores of +1 (73).
No. 1 Georgia Tech, the three-time defending tournament champion, leads the tournament with a score of 287 for the first round.
There is a three way tie for the individual honors as a pair of Rebels, Clark Corbett and Brien Davis, and Florida’s Camilo Villegas all shot a 68 (-4).
