Men’s Golf Finishes Furman Intercollegiate in Eighth Place – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio–The Ohio State men’s golf team finished the final round of competition at the Furman Intercollegiate today in Greenville, S.C. in eighth place, firing a 302 (+16). The Buckeyes top finisher was sophomore Zach Doran (Dublin, Ohio/Fla. Southern) who fired final round 68 (-4) to finish tied for fifth while competing as an individual.
Defending tournament champion Virginia Tech (299+285+284=868) fired a final round four-under to win the tournament for the second-consecutive year.
Virginia Tech’s Brendon De Longe (71+69+71=211) fired a final round one-under 71 to win the tournament by a stroke in front of Jonathan Hill of East Carolina and Furman’s David Sligh, who each finished the tournament at four-under.
