Women’s Track & Field Place 26th At NCAA Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State women’s track and field team finished 26th with a team score of nine points at the NCAA Indoor Championships held in Fayetteville, Ark. LSU claimed top honors with a score of 57.
All four Buckeye women placed with co-captain Katy Craig leading the way with a fifth-place finish in the weight throw (65-06 l). Tami Smith placed sixth in the high jump with a jump of 5-9 L, while Dalanda Jackson earned sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.17 seconds. Teammate Alexis McCall finished 11th in the shot put, posting a throw of 51-6 L.
For the men, Dan Taylor finished 17th in the shot put with a throw of 59-00.
Ohio State returns to action when they open the outdoor season April 6 at the Wheeling Jesuit Invitational in Wheeling, W.V.
