Buckeyes Overpower Kenyon, 119-86 – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio-The Ohio State women’s swimming and diving team defeated Kenyon College tonight by the score of 119-86 at the Mike Peppe Aquatic Center in Larkins Hall. The Buckeyes were victorious in ten of 11 events and have now won three of their last four meets to improve their record to 4-6 on the season.
Winners for the Buckeyes included the 200 medley relay team of Kylee Lancken (Fr., Sydney, Australia), Erika Staley (Jr., Piqua, Ohio), Kristin Sendrowski (Sr., Garden City, N.Y.) and Katie Severson (So., Cincinnati, Ohio) with a time of 1:48.44, Kristin Sander (Sr., Cincinnati, Ohio) in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:20.88, Lancken in the 200 freestyle (1:53.02) and 100 butterfly (:59.00) and Stephanie Raezer (So., Newark, Del.) in the 400 IM (4:30.40) and 500 freestyle (5:05.42).
Other winners for the Buckeyes included Katie Severson (So., Cincinnati, Ohio) in the 100 freestyle with a time of :52.79, Amanda Treleaven (So., Colonial Light, Australia) in the 100 backstroke (58.36), the 200 freestyle relay team of Sander, Katie Kolles (Fr., Edina, Minn.), Ashley Barnes (Fr., Lexington, Ky.) and Severson with a time of 1:37.55 and Staley with a season-best time of 1:06.15 in the 100 breaststroke.
The Buckeyes are back in action tomorrow when they take on Big Ten foes Michigan State and Michigan in East Lansing, Mich. at 2 p.m.
