%^$Columbus, Ohio-The Ohio State women’s swimming and diving team defeated the Ball State Cardinals tonight in Muncie, Ind. by the score of 136-104. It marks the Buckeyes second straight win. With the victory the Buckeyes improve their record to 3-5 on the season.%^$
%^$The Buckeyes were victorious in 10 of the 13 events. Winners for the Buckeyes included the 200 medley relay team of Amanda Messmer, Stephanie Raezer, Ashley Barnes and Ashley Routson (1:34.12), Kristin Sander in the 1000 freestyle (10:25.49) and 100 freestyle (53.82), Lindsay Goodson in the 200 freestyle (1:57.20), Kristin Sendrowski in the 100 butterfly (58.71), Amanda Treleaven in the 100 backstroke (58.90), Raezer in the 500 freestyle (5:03.53) and the 200 freestyle relay team of Sander, Severson, Kylie Lancken and Katie Kolles (1:39.96).%^$
%^$Melanie Johnson and Jillian Cicione continued to shine on the boards. In the 1-meter dive, Johnson took first place (175.50) and Cicione second (159.20). The case was the same in the 3-meter dive as the Buckeye tandem took first and second again. Johnson took first with a 179.40 score and Cicione second with a score of 164.45.%^$
%^$The Buckeyes are in action again tomorrow when they travel to Bloomington, Ind. for a meet with the Indiana Hoosiers at 1 p.m.%^$
