Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Penn State, 15-10 – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s lacrosse team (7-8) traveled to State College, Pa. to take on the Nittany Lions (8-9) in their last game of the season. The contest was held at Jeffrey Field where the Buckeyes fell to Penn State, 15-10.
Penn State’s Molly Ford scored first at the 27:54 mark and was followed by three unanswered goals by the Buckeyes. Ohio State was lead in scoring by Megan Mirick (Jr. Burke, Va./ Robinson) and Shannon Wilson (So. Crystal Beach, Ont./ Lakeshore Catholic) who both tallied three goals each.
The Nittany Lions took the lead early on and ended the first half with a 9-7 lead. The Buckeyes fought to regain control but were unable to bridge the gap with a final score of 15-10.
