The OSU men’s golf team is in 14th place, scoring 293-307=600 after two rounds at the Western Intercollegiate, hosted by San Jose State and held at the Pasatiempo Golf Course (par 70, 6,445 yards) in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Ryan Dennis (Jr., Stow, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) leads for the Buckeyes after two rounds, scoring 71-76=147 to finish day one of the competition in 25th place. Mike Austin (Sr., Burton, Mich./ Flint Powers Catholic) carded a two-round total of 149 for 38th place.
Tournament play will continue tomorrow with the final round set to begin at 7:30 a.m.
