Women’s Lacrosse Tops St. Bonaventure, 16-4 – Ohio State Buckeyes

%^$%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s lacrosse team (5-1 overall) downed St. Bonavenure, 16-4 Sunday afternoon at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The Buckeyes improve its record 5-1 on the season. Ohio State snapped the Bonnies winning streak of two wins.%^$
%^$The Buckeyes helped its own cause scoring 10 first half goals. Kylee Reade (Jr., London, Ont.) and Alexia Vogler (So., Ellicot City, Md.) provided the offensive power, both adding two goals and one assist each. Balancing the OSU offense were Megan Mirick (Jr., Burke, Va.) and Tracey Bounds (So., Ellicott City, Md.) each also adding two goals and one assist each.%^$

In goal, Megan Barnett (Jr., Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) shut down the Bonnies offense stopping five shots while only giving up 4 goals.%^$
%^$The Buckeyes return to action March 30 and April 1 by traveling to College Station, Pa. for the Penn State Tournament.%^$
