Natalia Diea Finishes Season With Sixth Place Finish At NCAA’s – Ohio State Buckeyes

Natalia Diea (Jr., Austin, Texas/University of Texas) finished her season Saturday at the Nassau Aquatic Center with a sixth place finish in the platform dive with the score of 423.50.%^$
Diea was the lone representative from Ohio State at the NCAA Championships. She qualified in the 1-meter, 3-meter and platofrm dives. Diea earned 20 team points for the Buckeyes with her 10th place finish in the 3-meter dive (478.55) and sixth place finish in the platform dive (423.50). The 20 team points was good enough to put the Buckeyes in the top 30 in the country.%^$
The 2001 women’s swimming and diving championships will be aired on ESPN on tape delay. Airtime is scheduled for March 23 at 2 p.m. EST.
