Natalia Diea Places 10th In 3-meter Dive – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio– Natalia Diea (Jr., Austin, Texas/University of Texas) placed 10th at the NCAA Championships with her preliminary score of 478.55. Diea is the lone representative from Ohio State.
Diea’s score of 478.55 was just 10 points away from reaching the finals. OSU now has seven points in the team totals which puts them in 35th place. Diea will have a chance to earn a national title tomorrow when she will be participating in the platform dive. Diea is one of the favorites to win the platform.
The 2001 women’s swimming and diving will be aired on ESPN on tape delay. Airtime is scheduled for March 23 at 2 p.m. EST.
