Women’s Tennis Players Eliminated from the Rolex ITA National Indoors – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio- Two members of the Ohio State women’s tennis team, Kristy Dascoli (Sr., Bradenton, Fla.) and Monica Rincon (Jr., Lapeer, Mich.), participated in the prestigious National Indoor tournament. The event began Thursday (Feb. 1) and will conclude Sunday (Feb. 4).
In the second round of the consolation bracket, Dascoli and Rincon lost to Lori Grey and Aarthi Venkatesan of Georgia 6-3, 6-3. The loss eliminates the Buckeye duo from the competition.
The No. 22 women’s tennis team returns to team competition Feb. 9, battling No. 4 Duke in College Park, Md. The squad faces Maryland Feb. 10.
