No. 10 Volleyball Hosts Iowa Friday and Minnesota Sunday – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – %^$The Ohio State (13-1 overall, 5-1, second place) women’s volleyball squad returns home for Big Ten Conference matches against Iowa and Minnesota. The Buckeyes, ranked 10th in the USA Today/American Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches Poll, will face Iowa (2-10, 0-6, 11th) at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12 and host 20th-ranked Minnesota (10-4, 4-2, 3-way tie for third) at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14. The match with the Gophers had been scheduled for Saturday night, but the 3:30 p.m. starting time for the Ohio State-Wisconsin football game and with the volleyball match being delayed cablecast by Fox Sports-Chicago, the match was moved to Sunday.%^$

%^$In the USA TodayAVCA Coaches Poll released Monday, Ohio State moved up one spot to 10. This marks the highest ranking for the Buckeyes this season after starting out as 15th in the preseason poll.%^$
