Softball Begins Fall Practices – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio State softball team has started its fall practices this week. The team is preparing for three fall tournaments, including the Buckeye Invitational Sept. 30-Oct. 1 and the Ohio Collegiate Charity Classic Oct. 6-8. The Buckeyes will finish out their fall season with the Ohio State Alumni Game at 9:30 a.m., Oct. 14.

“We are excited and optimistic about the coming season,” head coach Linda Kalafatis said. “It’s good to see the new kids on the field and with the team. While it’s too early to tell how the new players will fit in, we hope the fall practices will help us to determine the roles that need to be filled.”
