Ohio State Represented by Three Swimmers at Olympic Trials – Ohio State Buckeyes

Ohio State will be represented by two current and one former women’s swimmers at the Olympic Trials in Indianapolis, Ind. Aug. 8-16.
Heidi Hazen (Mentor, Ohio), who was co-most valuable swimmer for OSU last season as a senior, will compete in the 100 butterfly event. Her best time in the event came at the Big Ten Championships when she placed seventh with a time of :55.58. in Feb.
Erika Staley (So. Piqua, Ohio), last season’s freshman of the year for the Buckeyes, will swim the 100 breaststroke. She placed fourth in the event (1:03.74) at the Big Ten championships.
Kristin Sendrowski (Jr., Garden City, N.J.), who earned co-most valuable honors along with Hazen, will swim the 200 butterfly. Her best time last season in the event was 2:01.58.
Head Coach Jeanne Fleck and assistant Matt Anderson will also be in Indianapolis to assist with coaching duties.
