Rincon and Dascoli Fall in Second Round of NCAA Doubles Championship – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s tennis doubles duo of Kristy Dascoli (Jr., Bradenton, Fla./Bradenton Academy) and Monica Rincon (So., Lapeer, Mich./Lapeer West) lost in the second round of the NCAA Doubles Championship, today in Malibu, Calif. With the loss, the tandem was eliminated from the tournament, ending the Buckeyes’ season.
The No. 23-ranked tandem of Dascoli and Rincon was defeated in two sets by Stanford’s No. 13-ranked Laura Granville and Keiko Tokuda (6-2, 6-3). Dascoli and Rincon, who had their 12-match winning streak stopped with the loss, end the season with a mark of 20-6.
