COLUMBUS, Ohio – %^$The Ohio State women’s tennis doubles duo of Kristy Dascoli (Jr., Bradenton, Fla./Bradenton Academy) and Monica Rincon (So., Lapeer, Mich./Lapeer West) lost in the second round of the NCAA Doubles Championship, today in Malibu, Calif. With the loss, the tandem was eliminated from the tournament, ending the Buckeyes’ season.%^$
%^$ The No. 23-ranked tandem of Dascoli and Rincon was defeated in two sets by Stanford’s No. 13-ranked Laura Granville and Keiko Tokuda (6-2, 6-3). Dascoli and Rincon, who had their 12-match winning streak stopped with the loss, end the season with a mark of 20-6.%^$
