Men’s Golf Tied for Fifth Place at Matlock Invitational – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio-The Ohio State men’s golf team finished the first day of the Matlock Invitational tied for fifth place with host Southern Florida College.
OSU shot (297-288=585) in the first two rounds of the invitational, held in Lakeland, Fla. The Buckeyes’ second round total of 288 tied first place Georgia Southern for low round of the day. OSU was led by David Wagenseller (So., Wilmington, Ohio) who shot two-under (73-69=142) to tie for third place. Justin Collins (Fr., Ironton, Ohio) shot one over par to tie for ninth place (73-72=145).
The third and final round of the Invitational will be begin Wednesday at 7:30 a.m.
