COLUMBUS, Ohio – %^$The No. 31 Ohio State women’s tennis team lost its first conference match of the spring, falling, 5-2, to Iowa Sunday in Iowa City, Iowa. The Buckeyes dropped to 8-6 on the season and 2-1 in the Big Ten.%^$
%^$ The Buckeyes claimed two singles matches in the contest. OSU’s Kristy Dascoli (Jr., Bradenton, Fla.) won over Shera Wiegler in two sets, while Laura Maloney (Jr., Barrington, Ill.) recorded a victory at No. 5 over Erica Johnson. Monica Rincon (So., Lapeer, Mich.) suffered a three-set loss to Iowa’s Toni Neykova at No. 2.%^$
