Ohio State Shows Strong Performance at Track and Field NCAA Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State’s Donica Merriman (Jr. Trotwood, Ohio), Dominque Calloway (Sr., Aurora, Colo.) and Ian Connor (Jr., Lexington, Ohio) competed in today’s Indoor Track and Field NCAA Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
Merriman placed third in the 60-meter hurdles recording a school record breaking time of 8.06 (8.11, Merriman, Feb. 12, 2000). In the 200-meter run she placed fourth with a school record breaking time of 23.50 (23.65, Bridgette Tate, Feb. 25,1989). Dominque Calloway placed eight in the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.27. Ian Connor placed 10th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:07.80.
Andrew Pierce (Jr., Yellow Springs, Ohio) will be competing in tomorrows’ second and final day of competition in the 400-meter dash.
