Dascoli Falls to LSU’s Colosio at Rolex National Indoors – Ohio State Buckeyes

Farmers Branch, Texas – Ohio State’s Kristy Dascoli (Jr., Bradenton, Fla.) fell in the first round of the 2000 Rolex National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships at Brookhaven Country Club Thursday.
Dascoli, ranked No. 39, was defeated by No. 20 Bruna Colosio of Louisiana State, 6-3, 7-5. The match was in the opening round of the National Indoors, the third leg of the ITA Grand Slam. Dascoli had earned a spot in the field after reaching the final at the ITA Midwest Regional in November.
Dascoli and the Buckeyes will be back in action when they travel to Durham, N.C. to face Kansas Feb. 11 and No. 4 Duke Feb. 12.
