%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women’s tennis player Kristy Dascoli (Sr., Bradenton, Fla./Bradenton Academy) was eliminated in the second round of the main draw at the Riviera Women’s All-American Championships, Oct. 20 in Pacific Palisades, Calif.%^$
%^$No. 33-ranked Dascoli lost to Stanford’s Keiko Tokuda, ranked No. 30, in three sets, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4. The loss broke a four-match winning streak for Dascoli. She had won three matches in qualifying before defeating the tournament’s No. 4 seed in the first round of main draw action.%^$
%^$In the first round of doubles consolation, the No. 8-ranked duo of Dascoli and Monica Rincon (Jr., Lapeer, Mich./West) defeated Old Dominion’s tandem of Nataly Cahana and Ana Radeljevic in two sets. Dascoli and Rincon will face Katarina Markovski and Jennifer Radman of South Carolina in the consolation semifinals.%^$
