Dascoli Advances to Main Draw at All-American Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women’s tennis player Kristy Dascoli (Sr., Bradenton, Fla./Bradenton Academy) won her third match in singles qualifying to advance to the main draw at the Riviera Women’s All-American Championships, Oct. 18 in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
No. 33 Dascoli, the No. 1 seed in the qualifying draw, easily defeated No. 46 Lindsay Blau of Arizona, a 9-16 seed, in the third round, 6-1, 6-0. The main draw begins Thursday, Oct. 19.
The No. 8-ranked duo of Dascoli and Monica Rincon (Jr., Lapeer, Mich./West) will compete in the doubles main draw of the tournament, Oct. 19-22.
