Ohio State Women’s Volleyball 11th In AVCA Poll And 8th In Volleyball Magazine Poll – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – %^$The Ohio State (17-1, 7-1 Big Ten) women’s volleyball team remained 11th in the USA TODAY/AVCA Coaches Top 25 Poll and dropped to eighth in the Volleyball Magazine Top 20 Poll this week. Ohio State had its 16-match winning streak stopped at No. 8 Minnesota in a 3-2 (7-15, 15-7, 4-15, 15-7, 15-9) Gopher win. The Buckeyes rebounded the next night at Iowa with a 3-0 (15-9, 16-14, 15-10) win over the Hawkeyes. This Friday Ohio State will host No. 13 Penn State (16-4, 5-3) and Saturday host Indiana (12-6, 3-5). Both matches begin at 7 p.m. The Indiana match will be delayed cablecast by ESPN2 at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.%^$
%^$Ohio State is currently tied with Minnesota and Wisconsin for first place in the Big Ten Conference. Penn State it tied for fourth and Indiana is tied for seventh.%^$
