Softball Wraps Up Fall Season This Weekend – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio State softball team will play their annual Buckeye Alumni game Oct. 14, at Buckeye Field in Columbus, Ohio. The alumni game pits the 2001 roster against former teammates and players.
Sunday, Oct. 15, Ohio State will host Miami (Ohio) at Buckeye Field to round out the fall season. The match-up was added after the Ohio Collegiate Charity Classic, which was supposed to be held Oct. 6-8 in Akron, Ohio at Firestone Stadium, was cancelled because of poor weather conditions.
Linda Kalafatis, head coach, said she is still determining the number of games to be played Sunday, but hopes to have at least a doubleheader, if not a tripleheader against the RedHawks. There also is a possibility of adding more teams to the competition.
