Women’s Swimming and Diving Falls to Indiana – Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State women’s swimming and diving team was defeated by Indiana, 141.50-96.50 in Bloomington Saturday. The Buckeyes’ record now stands at 3-7 overall and 0-4 in the Big Ten.
Kristen Sendrowski (So., Garden City, N.Y.) was a double-winner for OSU, taking first place in the 200 individual medly (2:07.69) and the 200 butterfly (2:02.71). Erica Staley (Fr., Piqua, Ohio) captured first place in the 200 breaststroke (2:26.10).
Melanie Johnson (So., Boca Raton, Fla.) won the three-meter dive with a score of 303.82 and placed second in the one-meter dive with 252.90 points.
Ohio State will face Northwestern in the final home meet of the year on Saturday, January 29, at 4 p.m. at the Mike Peppe Aquatic Center.
