Women’s Tennis Particpates in T. Rowe Price Clay Court Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Seven Ohio State University women’s tennis players competed in prequalifying at the T. Rowe Price National Clay Court Championships at the Suburban Club of Baltimore County in Pikesville, Md. Briana Harris (Jr., Bradenton, Fla.), Katherine Martin (Fr., Kennewick, Wash.), Monica Rincon (So., Lapeer, Mich.), Sadhaf Pervez (Fr., Warren, N.J.) and Laura Maloney (Jr., Barrington, Ill.) all won their first round matches. No Buckeyes advanced out of the second round.%^$
%^$ No. 50 Kristy Dascoli (Jr., Bradenton, Fla.) and Michelle Matko (So., Aurora, Ill.) will compete for the Buckeyes in the qualifying round of the singles tournament held Tuesday and Wednesday. %^$
%^$ The seventh-ranked doubles team of Dascoli and Harris has already qualified for the main draw of the doubles competition at the event (Thursday through Sunday). Rincon and Castro are entered in qualifying for the main draw doubles event.%^$
