Johnson, Penn, Redd Invited to World University Games Tryout – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State men’s basketball players Scoonie Penn (Jr., G, Salem, Mass./Salem), Michael Redd (So., Columbus, Ohio/West) and Ken Johnson (Jr., Detroit, Mich./Henry Ford) have been invited to tryout for the USA Basketball World University Games Team May 27-30 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.%^$
%^$The team will be selected by the USA Basketball Collegiate Committee and will be coached by Oliver Purnell, head coach of the University of Dayton. %^$
%^$The team selected in Colorado will compete in the World University Games, a multi-sport event held every two years. The games this year will be held in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Competition will run from July 3-12. %^$
