Women’s Lacrosse Falls Short to Virginia Tech – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s lacrosse team fell just short of victory against the Virginia Tech Hokies. The Hokies won 9-8. Virginia Tech moves to 5-0 on the year, while the Buckeyes fall to 5-4.%^$
%^$The Hokies dominated the first half, taking a 6-4 lead into halftime. The Buckeyes came out strong in the second half, scoring three quick goals. After a half-hour rain delay Virginia Tech got their offense back on track and outscored the Buckeyes 3-1.%^$
%^$Erin Andersen (So., Huntington, N.Y.) led the Buckeyes with three goals and two assists. Dawn Will led the Hokies with four goals and one assist. Catherine Augustyn also contributed to the Hokie offense by netting three goals and one assist.%^$
