Women’s Tennis Achieves Highest Ranking Ever – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State womens tennis team moved up in rankings to No. 26 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings released today. The ranking is the highest ever for a Ohio State womens tennis program. The doubles team of Kristy Dascoli (Fr., Bradenton, Fla.) and Briana Harris (Fr., Bradenton, Fla.) are also ranked No. 15 in the nation.
This past week, Ohio State defeated No. 18-ranked Kentucky, 5-4, compiling a 10-4 overall record this season. The Buckeyes are also undefeated in the Big Ten with a 3-0 record after defeating Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State.
The sophomore duo of Dascoli and Harris are 16-10 overall and have posted a 9-5 record at the No. 1 doubles position. Ohio State competes against No. 26-ranked Miami (Fla.) on Wednesday, March 24 at 2 p.m. and Big Ten foe Indiana on Saturday, March 27 in Bloomington, Ind.
