Women’s Swimming Closes Season – Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State women’s swimming and diving team fell to Pittsburgh today 146-97 at the Peppe Aquatic Center, their last home meet of the season. Ann Stephens (Jr., Cincinnati, Ohio) was a double winner, capturing the 50 freestyle (: 24.44) and the 100 backstroke (: 58.29). Heidi Hazen (Jr., Mentor, Ohio) and Keryn Krynauw (Fr., Pietermaritzburg, S. Africa) continued to win their individual events, the 100 butterfly (:57.62) and the 100 breaststroke (1:05.76) respectively. Carrie Ziebarth (Jr., Auburn, Wash.) continues her wining streak capturing the 1-meter diving event with 276.40 points. The Buckeyes are finished with their regular dual meet season. Up next, the Big Ten Championships Feb. 18-20 in Minneapolis, Minn.
